High Croft Guest House was built as a family home during the late Edwardian period, (1912) and still has most of its original features showing the typical mixed influences at the time of Elizabethan panelling, Tudor beams, The Arts and Crafts Movement and the stylised tulip design banister influenced by the unique style of Charles Rennie Mackintosh.

There is an ambience of beauty and tranquility as soon as you step inside!  The 1½ acre gardens, which guests are welcome to discover and enjoy, overlook Chapel-en-le-Frith golf course and across the Peak Park.

It is essentially a family home which your hosts, Elaine and Steve feel privileged to share with you; they place great emphasis on guest care and comfort in a welcoming environment.

Come and enjoy space and comfort at its very best.

Our Rooms

All our bedrooms have magnificent views over the surrounding countryside and garden and are individually decorated to a very high standard.  Our beds, duvets, linen and soft furnishings are of a high quality and our en-suites have either shower or bath or both.  Flat screen LCD digital colour television, tea and coffee making facilities, clock radio alarm, hairdryer, information browsers to help plan your stay and many other extras are provided to enhance your stay.

The Atholl Suite

The Atholl Suite is our premier room.  It is a large room with a romantic King size four poster bed, period furniture and fabulous views over the golf course and across the Peak Park.  The wood panelled bathroom has a huge bath and large shower cubicle with power shower, hand basin and WC with a further separate WC.  The Atholl Suite has the option of accommodating a further two people in a double sofa bed.

Eccles Pike

Eccles Pike is a large room with triple aspect views over the gardens, surrounding countryside and (during the winter months) up to Eccles Pike. This room has a King size bed, en-suite bathroom with shower cubicle, WC, and hand basin. Eccles Pike has the option of accommodating a further two people in a double foldaway bed.

Castle Naze

Castle Naze is situated on the front of the house and has the same fabulous views as The Atholl Suite (being next door to it).  The room has a standard double bed, en-suite bathroom with shower cubicle, WC, and hand basin.

Fairway

The view from this room (surprisingly) is the third fairway on the golf course and beyond to the hills. The room has a standard double bed, en-suite bathroom with shower cubicle, WC, and hand basin.
